Did you know that Surat is going to make an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the tallest Pyramid Cake on 17 Sept 2016? The event will take place at Maniba Party Plot, VIP Road, Vesu, Surat. This Pyramid Cake will be for the occasion of our PM Mr. Narendra Modi. The event has also been dedicated to the theme of “Empowering Daughters – Empowering India” an initiative to celebrate the courageous spirits of daughters of India.
The aim of this event is to pay a tribute to our PM for his support and initiatives he has taken to empower unprivileged women. The event is going to be attended by leaders, dignitaries and the media. To praise PM’s effort of social welfare, a group of girls has decided to make the tallest cake of World which will also itself a World Record and expected to include in the Guinness Book of World Record.
This event is an initiative by Shakti Foundation, a city based NGO which is working widely for women empowerment. It is supported by Atul Bakery, a leading name that has played a major role in Tribal women upliftment in various ways. An efficient team of 20 chefs of Atul Bakery will make the world’s tallest pyramid cake having the Choco Berry flavour. A New Delhi-based organization, Guitarmonk will remain present live music for PM Modi’s birthday and also music for peace. Around 1,000 guitarists from across the country will come in concert and play live guitar music and pray for the peace of the world. The event also launches ‘Guitarmonk Shakti’ to facilitate resources and music education for 10,000 unprivileged women. Around 100 guitars will be distributed free to the physically challenged and underprivileged and girl.
The pyramid cake is supposedly going to be eight feet tall and will be weighing more than 2.5 ton. Until now, the tallest cake pyramid measured 5′ 8.5″ and was accomplished by MTR Rzeszow International Fair in Rzeszow, Poland, on May 21, 2011. The cake weighed 720.8kg.
The giant pyramid cake will be cut in the presence of more than 5,000 girls and women. The cake will be cut by the mentally challenged and underprivileged girls. This giant cake will be cut in around 10,000 pieces and will be distributed in the neatly packed boxes.
