So Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s controversial pinstripe monogrammed suit that he wore during US President Barack Obama’s visit to India last month is up for the auction in Diamond City Surat along with 455 other items which he received as gifts in nine month of his tenure as the PM of India. The suit has now been sold to Laljibhai Patel (Dharmananda Diamond Company) for highest bid of whopping 4.31 crores!! This money will be used for cleaning Ganga. This auction was in limelight since last two days in all digital media including television, print and social media. Having our headquarters in Surat city, today we visited the auction cum exhibition and here are all photos from the auction. To our surprise, we also found some honours and awards given to Modi and Anandiben Patel (Chief Minister, Gujarat) up for the auction in this exhibition. Check out some glimpse of the auction.
